Sometimes sagging eyebrows which seem to press on the upper eye lid make people look tired or angry. This effect is often caused by the slacking of the tissue because of age. An (endoscopic) eyebrow lift – even not in combination with an eye lid correction – can prevent this.

During the procedure an incision is made in the hair area above the temple. With the help of an endoscope (a tube with a torch and a magnifier), the work area can be examined and the eyebrow lift performed. An opening is made under the eyebrow, the tissue is pulled tight and attached it again.

An endoscopic eyebrow lift lasts approximately one hour. The eyebrow lift is done under local anesthesia and you may go home the same day. Initially there may be some swelling and bruising, but it will disappear within a week.
